Lailatul Zuraida M Yusoff was appointed as Head Project (Brunei) in August 2021. She earned her degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons, majoring in Pure Mechanical) from the University of Technology Malaysia in 1997. She achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in March 2021.

With over 24 years in the company, Laila has played various management roles throughout multiple PETRONAS projects, ranging from Malaysian brownfield projects to Mega greenfield projects. Among her notable achievements include the leading and sanctioning of an Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project in 2017, which enabled existing facilities to be safeguarded while prolonging the producing field life. The overall project has delivered in On Time, On Budget, On Scope (OTOBOS) safely.

Laila’s feat also involves the delivery of two Central Processing Platforms for oil and gas facilities with estimated weights ranging between 11,000MT to 22,000MT as well as numerous satellite and wellhead platforms.

 

Laila has strong leadership skills, built upon solid project delivery expertise. Her key strengths are innovative contracting strategy that places much emphasis on providing a positive work environment and culture. She values open conversations and encourage her team to always explore new opportunities.
